wedding gown

hello....

 

i am a newbie. my daughter is the one getting married at the riu in ocho rios, jamaica on may 2, 2009. we both have been reading all the posts on this site and have learned a lot of helpful hints by doing so.

 

does anyone have suggestions as to how to get your wedding gown to your destination so it will be in good shape when you arrive at your destination?

Most airlines will have a place to put your dress on the plane.. kinda like a carry on ... i know that my airline will take the suits and dresses and hang them in a designated area so that they are safe and keep in good shape hope that helps u out... ask ur travel agent if your not sure!

If your daughter is flying coach, she'll have to ask the flight attendant to hang her dress in the first class closet. Like Casey said, do a search on the topic. There have been several threads posted on this subject. We are all concerned about getting our dresses there in great condition!
