Royal Hideaway vs. El Dorado Royale

Hi all,

 

My fiance and I are trying to decide between the Royal Hideaway Playacar and the El Dorado Royale for our Honeymoon. The Royal Hideaway is more expensive, so we'd be comparing an Infinity Pool Casita Suite at El Dorado to a Luxury Oceanview Suite at Royal Hideaway (edge: El Dorado). Aside from the room, does anyone have an opinion on how these two hotels compare?

Isn't the Royal Hidaway the one that has lost most of its beach? I'm not 100% but if this is a deal breaker for you I would check the reviews on Tripadvisor, I thought that is where I saw something about it. Sorry I can't be more help.
