Should I do a sweetheart Neck?

Recommended Posts

I would have your seamstress pin it so you get the look of the sweetheart, and then decide if you want it. I love sweetheart necklines (it's what I have) because they are very flattering for my body type. With your figure, it could go either way. Pretty dress!

Personally though, I think your dress already has soooo much goingon that a sweetheart would only take away from it. Sweethearts are better for a more simple dress, or a dress w/ a more simple top.
Ditto on the bust thing thing...and Ditto on keeping it straight!

You could do a subtle sweetheart if you wanted...it's basically just pinching the fabric slightly in the front...not a full heart shape...a friend of mine did this with her dress & it looks really nice! Here's a pic...

Okay so I went to my seamstress this past Saturday and when I put the dress on, I just loved it how it looked as is. The top part has the perfect amount of lace and besides that , the dress was so huge on me that it was already going to need lots of altering that I did not want to risk cuttinng at it anymore. The best part: I'm only being charged $50.00 for the alterations!
