I'm hoping it's ok to post this thread twice, because I wanted to make sure my fellow PV brides saw it too!

If you have not seen this website, you have got to check it out! It is for Wedding Color Inspiration Boards

The Perfect Palette

If you go on it today, you will see the first blog, Board #163 is my inspiration board!

I emailed Chrissy and she had no idea about BDW and she is a bride herself.

I thought she did a great job with my board and I love it!

I highly recommend emailing her and letting her know what you want for your board!

Her inbox has been getting sort of crazy lately so it might take a little bit for her to email it back. If you find inspiration from previous boards she has made, she can probably put something together a little faster...?

(if this website was already posted somewhere, I do apologize) :)

Wow!

Thank you! I got engaged last Christmas and I can't decide on my color pallette I love all the colors! lol

AND everyone asks me what my colors are and I just shrug and say I don't know. I think I need to decide this soon. I'm so in denial I'm getting married LOL.

The only reason I wanted to have my colors set, is because you can't begin to purchase the small stuff until you know what colors you're using. I was trying to order little things here and there, like favor tags, coasters, napkins, etc but I can't order them if I don't know the colors! So I definitely agree it is hard to decide but, yes, very important.

Have you set a date yet!? I was just in LA last weekend, I live by SLO. It's nice for us living where we do, because the flights to PV are direct non-stop. yeah!

No, I haven't set a date yet! I'm such a bobble head! I go on every direction and I need to focus! I haven't done the probably first important things. I don't have a date, I don't have colors, I don't have a dress. I'm very tom boyish. I haven't been dreaming or planning about my wedding since I was a little girl. I wish I was girly like that, but I'm not! I've been with my fiancee for almost 8 years and he finally popped the question to my shock! I was really OK with just living with him. I told people he was the Steadman to my Oprah.. LOL

I am leaning for October or November 2010. At first I wanted Cabo but it's pricier and seems very touristy I feel PV has more character. I know I love the we have direct flights!

That's funny, "steadman to my oprah"...

I didn't think my fiancee was going to propose either, he is in the middle of purchasing a new company so I thought he would wait until that whole craziness is over with. We were going to do Feb 2010 but i found Dec to be less expensive for our guests so that's why we chose that time. Also, I think im the only one of my friends with a wedding in Dec!

You know what, I think I was opposite. I thought I knew what I always wanted out of a wedding - big hometown wedding, attention on me, etc etc, but once it came down to it, i really just wanted something unique and special with our very close friends and family. And I'm so busy being a MOH in may and bridemaid in June that it's going to fly by!
