Costs for Fire Dancers and/or Cigar Roller?

Hello-

 

I am getting married at the Iberostar Punta Cana and my TA still hasn't given me the name or contact information of the WC at the resort. When I call, I can't get through because the reservation is still not in our name (only the TA group, I think).

 

Anyhow, just for budgeting purposes, I was wondering if anyone knows what the costs are for hiring fire dancers or a cigar roller for the wedding reception?

 

Are they specific to certain resorts or can anyone in town hire them?

The fire dancers were $600 for 7 minutes performance.

In my opinion they are really worth the money. They were awesome and everyone loved them! Pictures are HERE.

It must depend on the resort. We are getting married at the Melia Caribe and we have a fire dancer booked and it is costing us $250.00 for a 10 minute performance. I agree with Varia, it is well worth the money!

They told me $150 for the fire dancers at the Melia.

How do you go about booking the fire dancers? Do you have to do it in advance or do you set it up with the resort when you get there?

it depends on the resort. the wedding cordinators contact info is probably on Iberostar's website. I would check it out.
