We danced to "In My Life" by the Beatles. My dad loves the Beatles and it's a sweet song. Plus, it's fairly short which is good. My dad danced in his bare feet and, at the end, he bowed down - we have a very cute picture of it.

I, too was looking for a fun upbeat song. I had chosen Wink and a Smile (from Sleepless in Seattle - Harry Connick Junior - very cute song and easy to dance to), but my dad asked for a slow song. Still love this song! YouTube - Grandma

Natasha - I was totally thinking of using that song too! I'm trying to decide between the following (anyone have a vote?):

In my Life - Beatles

You are So Beautiful to Me - Ray Charles

You are the sunshine of my life - Stevie Wonder

My dad loves the second two and wants to dance twice! He's so sweet :)

My dad has one picked out that he is going to surprise me with... I'm 99.9% sure he'll choose Daddy's Girl by Peter Cetera. I remember listening to it with him when I was a kid - it's the perfect song. I'd be shocked if he didn't pick that song... but I'll let him think he surprised me lol - he's so cute!

I'm sure you can drag him out on the dance floor for at least one song! I am actually really jealous that you guys are eloping! It's going to be awesome - and so romantic!

Kash I know I will be able to get him out and dance....my whole family will dance. I'm just hoping there will be live music....since I'm going to hire a trio or guitar player for ceremony only and not getting anthing for dinner....
So I'm hoping Baja Cantina has music...
