lingerie under dress? in hot weather? LOL your thoughts...

My dress is very heavy silk with embroidery & crystals so I have opted to not wear anything underneith. I bought some simple silk lace panties and that will be all. I know my boy won't be awake/sober when we get to the room so I am taking lingerie to the room jsut in case or for the morning.

I have a nude strapless bra & knockoff Spanx. I'm sure it will be hot but I need containment, hehe!

I'm struggling with this too. I went to go try on bustiers the other day and David's and VS, but I hated the way there was padding in the front. I feel like that defeats the purpose of trying to make your middle look smaller.

 

Has anyone just used a waist shaper and a bra?

I got a beautiful thin silk busier at sol a store here in denver. So it is kind of bridey but not too sassy. Since I have big saggy boobs I will need this so the dress does not make a small fold under my breasts. I then plan on wearing a thong or lacey boy shorts what ever I find that is super cute and comfy.

***Casey- at sol they were telling me that the Davids bridal ones are mad of foam and if they get hot and steamy they can lose thier shape.

Thanks... good to know. The VS were made of foam too. I have no idea what to wear and my last fitting is in a few weeks. Crap!
