Wedding Party Pics Question

For those of you who have already chosen which pictures to use in your album, thank-you cards, etc., is it still traditional to give a picture of the wedding party, to everyone IN the wedding party? Back in the day (I can't believe I just typed that), when I was married the first time around, this was a common practice. Just wondering if it still is.

 

I was actually thinking of putting together a small soft-cover album with a few highlights of the entire trip (not just the wedding day) and giving that to each member of the wedding party instead.

 

Any thoughts ladies?

I think that either would be nice to give to your party. I'm sure they would love to have an album with highlights of the week.

I am having my photographer take group shots of the entire 50 people coming to the wedding and giving those to everyone. I'll probably be giving the wedding party especially pictures of us together. Hope that helps!

MIL actually printed 8x10s of the entire group to give to everyone before we left. It was a really nice touch!
I hadn't thought of giving the wedding party any. Hmmm...something to think about!

Alot of brides are giving pictures or mini albums as a gift to the bridal party. There are so many fun things you can do now at reasonable prices, so it's great! Some brides will do a pic with each bridesmaid for a gift too.

Thanks ladies for all of your comments! I've definitely decided to go the soft-cover album route, may-be 10 pages total. I can customize them for each bridesmaid/groomsman to include specific shots of them. I will post one as an example, when I'm done. Thanks again!
