I bought my cardstock through stampin' up..it's a scrapbook business and there was a local retailer close to me. I ordered the same amount of chocolate brown and turquoise paper. I made the cuts according to how much writing I had on the invitation. I don't have a measuring tape with me right now so I'll just try to explain for now...

...I printed the two monograms below the writing part of the inviation on the turquoise paper. I cut the turquoise paper just below the writing which left a strip with two monograms on it. I then had to cut a tiny bit (approx. 0.25 cm) off each end of the turquoise so that it left space to be able to see the brown along the sides.

I then cut the brown about 0.5 cm wider than the turquoise so that when I stuck them together I'd have 0.25cm of brown all around the edge of the turquoise. Then I started on the monograms. For my first one I cut around the monogram as close as I could and made sure it was centered. I'm pretty sure that my monogram was 4x6, the brown around it was 5x7 and then the last turquoise piece that gets glued to the front of the invite was 6x8 ... something like that anyway.

For the second monogram I didn't have enough turquoise left to do the 3 layers (turquoise, brown turquoise) so I just did the two (turquoise, brown) and I am using those to attach to my favours and welcome bags.

To stick everything together I got some double sided tape from walmart and it comes with an applicator and some refills. For the first 50 or so we were putting tape all around the edges of the turquoise to make sure it stayed there but we were using WAY too much tape so we started putting just a tiny bit on the corners and that ended up working just as well. I would say that the hardest part was folding the invites cause my fingers got really sore from pressing down on it so much. I recommend using something with an edge on it to push down...I was using our tv remote control and that worked fine.

I think that's all I did...I'm so excited you like them and might try them out!! Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help!
