Hi everyone just trying to get an idea of what the total costs of a destination wedding will entail to try and prove to my family and fiance it is actually a more economical expense.

Welcome to the forum! More often then not a destination wedding is a lot cheaper for the same quality of service compared to locally, but a lot of that has to do with having a lot less people. The one thing you can't put a price tag on though is the scenery!

It's great to have another member here from Phoenix!

 

As far as cost goes, your destination wedding can be as simple or as elaborate as you want to make it. So, the cost really depends on a number of factors such as how many guests, which venue, how much you want to spend on food and alcohol, entertainment, etc., etc. I have photographed destination weddings as small as just the couple with no family to ones that had about 60 people or more.
