Jamaica/Sandals & Fireworks

Does anyone know if it is possible to have fireworks on the beach? Sandals might not allow it, but we would love to have some fireworks at our reception!!

We really wanted fireworks and looked into it at the Ritz Carlton. It is CRAZY expensive. $2400 a minute, minimum of 4 minutes. Not kidding. Something about having to have the fire department there on standby, etc. Not exactly as ecicting, but certainly more economical, I was told that people have used sparklers in liee of throw rice at sunset weddings. Maybe an option for you to get your fireworks on a smaller scale.

Oh, and for an extra $5000, they'll write your name in the sky. lol.

I just went to a wedding with sparklers and it is a beautiful, inexpensive alternative

What about sparklers, you can get really long ones, they last longer and look great in pictures. A friend had them at her wedding, we lit them and the newlyweds ran thru as the photographers took pictures. Looked great.
