Toronto and area brides have you ever been to this store

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if any Toronto area brides have been to this bridal store or bought from their website. Best for Brides They have 2 locations one in Etobicoke and in Toronto. I have been to a few bridal shops in my area and find the selection is very limited. They do carry some of the designers I like but never have the dresses in stock that I like, so I am thinking I need to go to a large store with lots of dresses.

No sorry! My daughter and I went to a lot of bridal stores in the GTA but I don't recall that one. One of the things I did was Katie had a couple of different dresses in mind that she had seen pictures of and wanted to try on. Through the designer websites I found out which stores carried that line and then called the store to check stock. Turned out that once she tried them on she didn't like them, but we had to try :)

We found the biggest collection of dresses was at Windsor Bridal on Orfus Road, which is where we bought Katie's dress but their customer service is not the best. If you can avoid going on a Saturday you will get better service and attention by going on a weekday.

Sorry I didn't go there either! I had the best experience at Ritche and found that they had the best collection. As Helen said - try to avoid Saturdays - we ended up going on the weeknights and found it to be much better.

Where abouts are you located?

I have not heard of it either. I have been to almost all the bridal stores in Toronto, where is it located?

For my wedding I almost bought my dress at Windsor Bridal, I had a good experience there (I know some people who didn't though). Whatever you do, if you buy a dress at Sposabella, be careful, they are shifty there and its not a good place to buy, even though they have an awesome selection and DO NOT get your dress altered there, just a word of advice.

If you have any questions on stores in TO to go to, let me know, I have been to 98% of them. :)

I got my dress at Winsor as well. HUGE selection, though I ended up going with a bridesmaid dress made in white. I had specified "beachy" when I went to try stuff on, but they just kept putting me in these big poufy things that just did not suit me or where we are getting married. See?

Richie just had a huge sale, they do have great deals sometimes. I bought my dress at Ballett's they have a store in Woodbridge (407 & 400) area, an outlet on Orfus Road and a store in the city.

The is also a place on Orfus Road near Windsor Bridal that you might want to check out, I can't remember the name.

I went to WindsorBridal too and felt so overwhelmed, I was like a deer in headlights, the place is huge. I asked the lady and she said they have over 2000 dresses. Saturdays at any bridal store are crazy, the one with with Windsor bridal is they only let you try on 5 dresses max per visit. With that many options its tough to pick 5 to try.

Good luck!
