Sister of the Bride Newbie looking for Riviera Maya Info :)

Hi All!

 

I'm not the actual bride, but rather the researcher gathering info for my baby sister, who is looking to be married this June/July in the Riviera Maya area. We've been looking at Dreams Tulum, Secrets Capri or Silversands, and Excellence Riviera Cancun, but are open to suggestions or opinions! Obviously she's doing this a little last minute, so we are praying for a location with a date open!!

 

Group size will probably be 20-25, and it will be adults only. Definitely looking for an all inclusive.

 

Even before joining I was able to see TONS of valuable information on this site, so I know it will be a huge help to us! Thank you so much!

Welcome! It's great that you are helping your sister with the planning. If she is flexible with the date, she should still be able to find a nice venue, so don't worry about that.

Dreams Tulum seems to be a really popular place to get married on here. Personally I am getting married in Sandos Playacar Beach Resort in June. Good luck planning!

Good to know I'm not the only sister of the bride that is doing the destination wedding planning. My sister is getting married on May 28th, 2009 in Cancun. I've spent hours upon hours on this site & various others researching resorts, photographers, florists, etc, so if I can answer any questions about Cancun for you I would love to help. Excellence Riviera is a beautiful spot - my parents have stayed there a number of times. Depending on what your sister wants in terms of travel time, it's only about 25 minutes from the airport ... a great spot and close to Playa Del Carmen and Cancun..
