You are getting married right before me! How far along are you in your planning? We did our site visit in Aug and I feel better about everything after that. Meeting with Maye, trying food and cake, picking a photographer. One of the big pieces we don't have is the music. We want to bring a 3 member band we know from San Diego but FI won't get his act together and confirm what all we would pay/take care of for them to come. Its getting agravating because if it doesn't work out I want to book a DJ and musicians for the ceremony soon!

We are surprisingly not very far. It has taken us FOREVER to make a decision about where to go, when to do it, etc. In fact we are still working on the contract with the resort right now. Their rates just went up so we are just trying to get a group block straightened out right now. I am working on my Save the Dates this week and hopefully will have them in the mail by this weekend.
We are planning to go back in Feb or so, and do food and cake tasting. We already have the photographer, and I am debating whether or not I need to use Maye, or just do everything through Mariana at Dreams. We are debating whether to have a DJ or just do our own music with an Ipod. We are going to have 20-30 people, what about you? When are you planning to arrive for your wedding? I think we will be there May 2-9. We're debating how long we want to stay.
