Has anyone heard of Gilda Badillo Photography?

Not me. Have you checked out Jonathan Thrasher he is from Grand Rapids and does DW's. He's also doing Jess's wedding at the Sheraton in June.

Love her work - it's beautiful. I tried to get her, but she books out a year in advance. She is very nice, though.

I contacted her for our October 07 wedding. She was great and her photos are beautiful. We chose someone else, but she was very responsive.

im curious why she is so cheap? why didnt you book her?

I don't recall her being cheap. We found Tomas Barron who came highly recommended by our coordinator Maye and the coordinator at Dreams, Mariana.

He was very accomodating to us. I'll be meeting with him and taking some photos during our site visit in June and I believe there's a June bride that's using him.

I just remembered why I didn't choose her.. spelling mistakes all over her website. I know that's silly, but it really put me off.

I like her work too. She was on my list of possible photogs, but when hubby & I sat down to choose, he really liked Bradley's work, so we agreed on him.

I also contacted Gilda and she sent me a cd/dvd of an entire wedding that she did. She was very responsive.

 

I liked her work, but didn't get that overwhelming feeling of awe with her photos....I'm super picky. ...and that's just my opinion anyway. She does have some beautiful photos and was very nice.

 

Like Tammy said, Jonathan Thrasher is photographing my wedding....his work gives me goose bumps.

I contact Gilda if you would like the information that she sent to me. I have received serveral emails back and forth which I thought was great. Seems really nice.
