Those having a beach wedding....

Just getting some ideas. I'm having a beach wedding next April. What are you doing in regard to shoes. Are you going barefoot, wearing Sandals, or what? Also are you providing guests a way to clean the sand off their feet after the ceremony and/or passing out any cute wedding fans at the ceremony?

My plan is definitly barefoot and I've been thinking about fans.

I really want to go barefoot but I am 5 feet and my FH 6 feet My dress is in the shortest length I can get, would be nearly impossible to hem because of the lace and is still a bit too long so I have to wear heels.

I was barefoot on the beach and it was amazing! Highly recommended!

I was thinking of doing cute flip flops b/c Im scared the sand will be too hot in the afternoon.

I went barefoot on the beach. HOWEVER with that said, I did have shoes that I wore for the photos before the ceremony and at the reception.

I am planning to do barefoot on the beach, and then get some cute sandals for the off the beach time. I don't know that I will do fans, because it seems like it's pretty breezy on the beach already.

I too was worried about the heat of the sand on my feet... that is the reason I wore the sandals on the beach... I initially wanted to do the barefoot sandals... they are a great accessory too!

I'm doing ivory satin flip flops. I also purchase white silk fans on the knot website for a little over a dollar each (wait for a sale). I think they will look super cute on the seats with the programs.
