I got my mugs from discount mugs.  If you find ones where the weight is blank the shipping is A LOT cheaper. Shipping for 70 was $29.  I also didn't have any duty fees.  I also waited until I got a coupon. I think it was 25% off, which i haven't seen in the last 4 weeks again.  But maybe if you have time to wait they'll do a promotion like that again.

These were the ones I ordered.

We just came back from a wedding in the Dominican (made me very excited for mine in May!).  A bunch of the guests brought the bubba mugs from Canadian tire.  They used them everyday, we also brought our mugs and used them everyday. Their bubba mugs, way better.  Much colder and they hold more.  It made me wish I had bought less little stuff and spent the extra money on the bubba mugs when they go on sale at Canadian Tire. Oh well too late now :)  Mine were still good, and were great for water with ice on the beach.

hey mocha - I found that comparing local companies like Crossbridge printing or CG designs (I think that's their names?) it was still cheaper to order from discountmugs.com *especially with the coupons* but only if you have a US address to ship to.  I ended up shipping mine to an aunt's house in NY and thought I'd rather spend the $300 I would have paid in shipping for totes and mugs on a trip down to NYC!! LOL

All very good info ladies!!!! Thanks for sharing... I do have lots of time to shop around and even thought about doing the "date and names" myself with that scratch on stuff. A friend of mine did that on glasses and it turned out well. Trying to save somewhere ;) I have looked at discountmugs and so far they are cheaper... just have to get them shipped to relatives in the states I guess. Thanks again ladies!!!

kya - Check out the exact mugs that Paper Bag Princess ordered, the shipping is so much lower for that mug. Also, I searched and eventually found a few places that are just across the border that will hold a package for $5 per week. Depending on how far you are from the border, that might work out for you. I will certainly be taking advantage of the service. The place I found is near Niagara.

I don't know if you already found towels - but I looked at towels from toweloutlet.com.  The shipping was a little high but not too bad considering how heavy towels can be - I ordered 48 towels and the shipping was under $100.
