You could tie in the pink with the corsage!

I need some unbiased opinions! Do my groomsmen need to match my bridesmaids?

My wedding colours are a deep pink (think magenta) and royal purple. My bridesmaids dresses are in the magenta and will be carrying bouquets of pink and purple flowers. The groomsmen are all in matching beige suits with white shirts. I have looked everywhere for ties to match the bridesmaid dresses but have had no luck. However, I did score an amazing deal at Sears which was a purple tie (with a very subtle design) and cufflinks for $5!!! Is it OK to have the groomsmen wear purple instead of the pink?

My shoes and a lot of the decor is also purple if that helps.

Help!!!  :o)

Great question! I was thinking of removing the packaging for anything that has instructions, ingredient listings etc. on the internal package. So for example the travel advil does, but I have some pepto type pills that don't. Would love to hear what everyone is doing though...

Silly question about the bags, are you removing the packaging from the travel advils and poly to gos? Every little bit of space helps but wasn't sure if it was better to keep it on?

Hi.

I am going to create survival bags like a few other brides did so the advil, poly to go, band aids etc are all together with a label like the ones someone put in templates. I found clear craft storage bags that seal at dollarama. I agree...save some space. I want to get all my oot bag stuff ready to go in the next couple weeks, then I am planning on packing them in a suitcase and going to see how much it weighs....if I am over I will have to get my FI to take an extra bag too!

Ladies,

I want your advice? I bought plastic tumblers with straws a few weeks ago for my oot bags instead of coffee cups like a lot of you are doing. I thought my guests would use them just as much and you can still put coffee in them as they are double walled. But, my fiance thinks it is a crazy idea...waste of space and doesn't think our guests will use them. I don't agree...thoughts? I have been to all inclusives before and I know they give you drinks in small plastic glasses and having a tumbler is more convenient. He hasn't been to an all inclusive.

Advice? I don't want to give them if my guests aren't going to use them. Thanks!

For me that's a bit of a tough one...in Mexico, it's so friggin' hot during the day that the ice melts quickly, diluting your drink...and I like my drinks cold and frosty!  On the flipside, it's something else to haul around and keep track of...we didn't take any type of insulated container either trip to Mexico.  I just asked my FI if he would ever consider taking something and he said no.  But, we're the type to get up early, have breakfast and leave the resort to do an excursion for a good part of the day.  Maybe if you tend to hang around the resort and drink most of the day, it would be more useful.

The other thing I enjoy is being able to try something different every time you spin around on the resort.  Coffee drinks, blended drinks, beer...it's just a great time to experiment!  I don't like to be wasteful, but if I don't finish a drink because it's past its' prime or I don't really care for it, that's ok.

These looks great! Is the white container with the label your first aid kit?
