Just womdering if anyone else has had this problem with drugstore.com - I put a bunch of stuff in my cart including Emergen-C but didn't complete my order because due to the FDA rules they won't ship the Emergen-C to Canada.

Hi Lianee and other addicted Oot baggers...lol

It is bad for me as I am a teacher and am  off all summer so I have lots of time to scout for deals. I told my fiance I wouldn't be gone long...four hours later..lol..

So here is what I scoped out at the different stores.

Giant Tiger- they actually had some nice sundresses and tops for women :) But I refrained. The one thing I chose not to get that I thought was a good find were insect wipes for 57 cents

but honestly, I have never found mosquitoes to be a huge problem in the Mayan. Unless you are doing outdoor excursions, so I am not including that, but good find for some of you.

Liquidation world can be hit and miss, I may try the other location here in Edmonton. The only thing I thought was a good deal was men's Axe deoderant, 4$. You just need to check expiration dates on things.

Dollar Giant has some good finds...nice nail files etc. I did find really nice Turquoise decorative sand for our blending of sand ceremony. The other dollar stores only have blue and red.

They have turquoise, pink, green and ivory color.

I am going to order the other stuff online I think. But I will keep you posted if I find anymore great websites. I feel bad that you all are buying more stuff because of me!

I tried putting in a 60.00 dollar order and it still wanted to charge me 27.00 for shipping.. so i don't think it is free shipping to Canada.. I read the shipping thing and it said for U.S only.  did any of you ladies actually finish the order and get free shipping?

Hi Jennifer,

I am going to try and place an order, I think you need to pick international...or maybe you did that? I will let you know. I was sure I checked that before I gave everyone the site.

Hi Jennifer,

I didn't place an order but did go to international like you said and yes I guess we have to pay shipping which sucks. But, depending what else you buy, I am planning on placing a larger order to make the shipping worthwhile...I don't think it should change much unless I order heavy stuff. Vitamins-Nature's Bountry are at least 25% cheaper then WalMart prices!!!

Tip for Canadian brides too- there was a tip in the wedding dress thread about one bride who wore stick on cold patches under her wedding dress to stay cool. I have looked in WalMart, Shoppers, Rexall and none carry these. Drugstore.com carries them...The first type is called Migraine cold patches...I am going to try these as I suffer from bad migraines and can't always stop moving around at work to put ice. The other type is BeKoool. Both you can cut as much or as little as you want.

Sorry to burst many brides' bubbles about the shipping costs but like I said, if you make a large enough order, I calculated that it is still worth it!

Hi there! Do you know if there will also be duties? I browsed a little and so far while the deals do seem pretty good, nothing seemed so much cheaper that it would be worth it for me if there is shipping and duties, in fact, I think I will end up paying more or about the same. Thanks for the tip on the migraine stuff and cold patches! Great idea :)

I am going to attempt an order tomorrow, I am pretty sure there is no duty. I went to the checkout with some items to see what they would add and without fully checking out they only added duty.

I had the same issue with Emergen-C. Gonna have to get that in Canada! I found it at Winners for 15.99 for 30 packs.
