Maye's Vendors

Hi everyone! I am using Maye as my wedding coordinator, and she says she uses a florist in San Jose, Cora for transportation, and Kelli for make-up. Has anyone used any of these people? Like/dislike?Also, for those using Maye who did not use these vendors, who did you use?

I also hired Maye, and I'm using her flower vendor. I was going to use her hair and makeup person (from mexsun) but the Sheraton won't allow outside hair and makeup now that they opened their spa so I had to change it to them. I heard the flowers are nice from her florist and I believe Mexsun gets good reviews as well.

I used Maye for day of coordination and most of the vendors I hired independant of her. The only vendor I booked through her was the trio mariachi, which we were very happy with.

 

For flowers, we got ours from a florist in San Jose - Floreria Pamela. I used Suzanne Morel's spa for hair/makeup and Ixchel for trasport. I was extremely pleased with all of my vendors.

 

That said, if you don't want to deal with managing your vendors, then use Maye's so she will handle them, but be prepared to pay a 10% service charge on all of the vendors she books for you.

Maye has been so great to work with. She is so responsive and helpful. I love working her....I've booked my own vendors.

 

I'm using the Flower Cart and I'm not pleased with their responsiveness. They were good at replying to my emails until they received my deposit. I've sent them 4 emails in the last month and not received a single response. Very frustrated with them at the moment, but heard their flowers are beautiful.

 

I'm also using Suzanne Morel for make-up.

Jess I'm sorry the flower cart is not responding. They are owned by Wedding in Paradise and they did the same thing once they received my deposit thats one (of many) reasons I fired them.

Thanks Tammy. I'm really glad I didn't use Weddings in paradise. I'm really pleased with Maye. Pray for me that my flowers show up and that they are right!

No, I haven't yet. But, I will probably copy her on my next email to them so she can follow up for me. Maye is great. She is helping me solidify my table arrangement/set-up now and telling me how many flower and/or candle arrangements I should plan to have.

 

Thanks for the idea. I always seem to take too much on myself. I wish I would've gone with her flower person. oh well.

Well I'm sure it will work out, when you arrive in Cabo just go there and confirm your selections.

I'm sure it will work out...I'm not too concerned, just annoyed at the unresponsiveness.
