Why is it that people my house, I answer the telephone, "hello", and then they say, "who is this." What the hell, you called me! Don't you know whose house you are calling. And then when I ask, "who do you want to speak to?" They get upset, and say, "it's me, Aisha!" Oh, so you knew who you were talking to all the time!

Why is it that I see couples every day who are DESPERATELY longing for children, and yet are infertile for various reasons, and then I see dozens of pregnant teens who don't even want to be pregnant, or girls/ladies who just gave birth treating their babies like cabbage patch dolls to be carted around and displayed for attention. How is that fair?

Why is it that Ontario is putting in roundabouts? No one knows how to use the second lane, and they probably cause more accidents then they prevent! ERGHGGHHG.

 

(P.s. the second lane is for next exit transfers only! Not a passing lane. GRrrr.)

Why is it that when I want to get in a hard run at the gym the treadmill is filled with girls with full make-up, tiny clothes, walking at a snails pace never breaking a sweat, that are just there to be seen. Come on people, I want to workout!

Why is it that people ask you for a favor and expect it to be done right then and there?

 

Why is it that when tourist come to NYC they feel the need to stand in the middle of a busy street and look up at the sky? NYC is a busy city, its not going to stop cause you want to see how tall that building is!

Why is it that when people ask you "how are you today" they always expect you to say "great" or "fine", or something. If you say you are tired or stressed or sick, or just not that great, they are totally taken aback. You did ask how I was today, right?

I know! Doesn't matter how bad a day I have, I always feel obligated to answer positively when people ask how my day is. Some people even see it as completely rude when you answer honestly(yet respectfully, of course, not snappish)
