Hors d'oeuvres necessary for 4 pm ceremony??

HD's are a must for my wedding guests. Our ceremony is at 12 and we are booked for a 6:30 PM reception. Hadn't thought about the band... now I'm considering it.

If you can put it in you budget I say go for it, people are going to eat especially if there's entertainment

i have a 4pm ceremony and will be doing HDs. Food is always a treat to wedding guests =)

Glad I read this post! I hadn't even considered HD after our 4PM ceremony, but now it sounds like a must do. Now I just need to find the extra $$ from somewhere...

i believe it's $8-12 per person. i wasn't going to do HD..but now i'm strongly considering it. glad i read this thread

I say Do it! I had a 4pm ceremony with cocktails and buffet HDs immediately following on the beach and everyone RAVED about it. if people ate lunch at 12-1pm and then went to get ready, they will be pretty hungry by the time the ceremony ends. It was totally worth the $$ for us.

I hadn't thought about this until reading this thread. I too am having a 4pm ceremony and about 70 guests. Hoursdouvers are totaling about $800 and I'm not sure that I want to spend that amount but then again our guests will be hungry and will want something to do until the 6:30 reception. I guess I'll try to put this into my budget.
