Least expensive ... but nice ... all inclusive?

OK ... most all of you know quite a bit more than I do ... I'm wondering where you think you get the most bang for your buck ... in Mexico (or anywhere for that matter) ... at an all-inclusive?

Hi! I'm pretty new here too but it seems like the consensus is that RIU and Iberostar resorts are lesser expensive and Dreams and Moon Palace resorts are more expensive. Gals back me up- am I right? With that in mind I think I'm going with Riu

We are looking at the Riu Palace in Cabo and find it to be very reasonable. We just booked a trip to the Riu Santa Fe in May to check out venues and got a great deal through their website. Approximately $560/ person for 4 nights flying out of Los Angeles.

I have been researching AIs in the Riviera for June on Expedia...including RT flights from Tampa, FL for 2 and 5 nights at the AI here are some prices, but I have no idea which ones are good (any reccommendations)....

Ocean Maya $1265

Ocean Coral & Turquesa $1345

we were really shocked too. we originally weren't going to do a site visit because it was so expensive, but this we can swing!

I was in the Riviera Maya last November for a wedding and we stayed at The Royal. I don't know anything about the AI's your list, but what we enjoyed about staying in Playa del Carmen was the proximity to the town. We could walk to the main part of town in about 5 minutes. It was great because you did not feel secluded and could explore other great restaurants and bars. Every group is different, but our group loved the flexibility of traveling outside of the resort.
