Hi Michael,

I am a photographer myself, looking to work on a cruise ship. I have been travelling for some time, I worked in Sydney in a portrait studio and absolutely loved it. I am now currently at home in the UK and looking for a way to travel and take pictures again.

I am considering this option as a means to travel, get more photography experience, to meet people and to preferably save some money.  Can you tell me what the pay was like and what cruise ship you worked for?  Is there anyway you can make a portfolio or are the images all copyrighted to them? Would you reccommend a photographer cruiseline job?

Any information would be much appreciated and help a lot.

Thank you kindly cheesy.gif

Its funny to read these comments about a photographer posing as a friend..and the cruise ship authorities are so dumb that they wont notice...c'mon they see this every day..The cruise ship photographers know the ship better than anyone else, it is better they capture the moment than your friend...the packages are cheaper than that of your friend...(we had all our photographs - prints and CDs for $1499.00) - Needless to say that it is nowhere close to the friendly photographer who you would take to the ship!!!
