Secrets Capri vs. Secrets Maroma Beach

We are planning our ceremony for 3pm. We are doing it in December though so the sun sets a earlier than July. We are also planning on doing the TTD shoot the next day. That way we can just focus on the wedding stuff the day of. Hope this helps

Both are fantastic properties- the main differences will be

Capri- smaller, intimate, older but the service & food is amazing, older but extremely well taken care of.

Maroma- larger propery, report sis that the food is very good but Capri is better, becah is a bit nicer, resort is brand new. Service is good but Capri service is better

Thanks for the suggestions on ceremony time, I think we'll change to 5 or 6 pm. Like you say, it will probably be to hot and crowded before then.

I've scheduled a 6pm wedding ceremony at Secrets Maroma and now considering bumping it earlier to add a photo shot with an outside photographer after the ceremony. I'm concirned, like many of you, about how to avoid the heat of the day and to finish all the photos before the light is gone. Things to consider...

Hi Elizabeth, nice to have another July SMB bride. We decided on 4pm for our ceremony. Kinda early but we'll be having our TTD following the ceremony so it will give us enough time for that. The heat is a concern but it's July so it'll be hot at 4,5 or 6pm - LOL
