Hi Ladies (and the occasional gent),

 

After MUCH deliberation, and considering about 100 different places (seriously), I think we have settled on the Sundy House in Delray Beach: Delray Beach Hotels: Sundy House Florida FL Palm Beach Boca Raton area luxury resorts conferences centers suites romantic family vacations getaways packages weddings meetings planning

 

Whooppeee! It has a great location between 3 well connected airports, offers plenty of activities, great food, intimate atmosphere, and not too far from the beach. The ceremony and reception can be held at the inn, in their lush gardens. The price is still a little high, but manageable.

 

My FI and I are heading down in 3 weeks, with my parents, to get the planning rolling.

 

Before we sign on the dotted line, as they say, does anyone have any feedback about this place or area? I hope its good... because the thought of going back to the drawing board literally gives me heart palpitations.

It looks beautiful from their website!! Will you be having your reception outdoors? The photo gallery shows some awesome outdoor dining options admist the gardens. I think you have chosen a perfect spot! Plus, getting to go and check it out ahead of time is pretty sweet!
