Unique Ceremonies

Recommended Posts

I love the idea of the sand ceremony - it seems so fitting for a destination wedding. My only concern is the wind. Does anyone know if this is a problem in doing a sand ceremony so close to the ocean? Just having images of the sand being blown back in my face...

just wanted to let you all know, the hand poem/ceremony went over really well. A lot of people thought it was creative and unique. Our minister read it right before we exchanged our rings, we both got a little choked up when he was reading it. I highly recommend adding it if you are thinking of adding something unique and sentimental. For us it was the personalization that we wanted since we didn't want to write our own vows.

I love the Support/Love bouquet! We're having under 20 people at our wedding so this would be perfect. I really want each and everyone to be a part of our wedding but we are only having a Maid of Honor and a Best Man, no other attendants. Does anyone have a reading/poem for this ceremony? Thanks!

We are definitely doing the Hand Ceremony. Anyone do that as well as the Sand Ceremony (I'm trying to read through this whole thread ... so perhaps I missed a response to this question already). I'm thinking the Sand Ceremony first and the Hand Ceremony just before the rings are exchangedhuh.gif
