Website suggestions please....

Greetings...I'm new to this great site and I'm looking for information on creating a wedding website. Free and easy would be ideal but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I haven't been able to find too much info so far. Any suggestions?

Ours wasn't free, but great and easy! I think it was like $75. Check it out: katelynnandbill.com

That was the bonus, to have your own domain name. And they had telephone/email support so whenever I was stuck I got help. So it was worth it for us!

They have a free version but for ours we pay 5$/month.

 

Its SUPER easy and very customizable

I plan on using mywedding.com. It's free and looks very easy. I've seen others' websites who have used it and they all look great. I'd send you a link to mine but I haven't quite started it yet

We used mywedding.com as well!

It has really nice designs and layouts (some sites have really cheesey designs:-))

You can also order matching invitations, STDs, etc...

And the best part is -- the site is free:-)

I used weddingwindow.com. I think it was $79 for a year, and then we paid an extra $15 to buy a personal domain name. I thought that the free sites that I came across looked kind of cheap and I decided to have the guests RSVP via the website rather than RSVP cards in the invites so I justified spending the extra $$$. Also, there are a TON of option to customize and I was able to add music that I wanted. Check it out: www.krissyandjoeswedding.com.

Mine is in my siggy.. it was super easy and free! It's not the most ornate or advanced website; but it does the job. =)

Have you thought about a blog type site? They are really easy to set up and maintain and you can update it with your adventure of planning through the honeymoon. Check out wordpress.com and wordpress.org, you can do it for free or do it for very minimal amount for hosting, the choice is yours. There are also plenty of free wordpress wedding themes out there to get you going.
