Help Needed In Tybee Island

I need help finding a decent resort/hotel. I am actually looking at the Atlantis Inn, but need some help! I just don't know what is going to be a good place to stay at a decent price for my guests! Any help from anybody in that area is greatly appreciated!

I'm not much help because we are still looking, but I see that you are in GA. Is it possible for you guys to take a scouting trip?

My brother went to a wedding in Tybee Island a few years ago. I remember they stayed in some sort of beach front cottage things that they shared with other couples. If you want me to get more information for you, let me know! I know he said it was a blast!

This is what my brother said:

 

We stayed in a condo for the week. There is a million places on the water that they could look at. I believe the website is TYbee or www.tybeerentals.com or something like that but we stayed at a place called Sand Piper. I believe we were condo 203 or 303. Great place.

Hey, did you check the Tybee Island Tourism Council's website? They have links to all different kinds of accommodations on there. Tybee Island, Georgia: Savannah's Beach Visitor Information Guide

You might also be able to get the Convention and Visitor's Bureau to send packets to your out of town guests.

 

For my first wedding, I gave a list to the Savannah Convention and Visitor's Bureau, and they send a packet to each out of towner - they loved them! And they were free for me, so even better!

I would suggest a site visit or at least looking at photos on trip advisor of whatever resort you are narrowing it down to. I will say that the last time I went to Tybee Island about a year ago the hotels and resorts on the island looked a little ran down. Specifically the Atlantis Inn. We stayed in town and the drive was not far. So you may want to look at that option or at least see some untouched current photos of the resorts out on the island. Good Luck!
