Civil Ceremony in DR Question

Hi Everyone - I am trying to understand how the civil ceremony works in the DR, and I've received a one page (large type) script of what the judge will read. We'd like to have a lot more included in our ceremony...after all, that's why everyone's coming to be with us!

 

How do you handle additional parts to the ceremony if the judge will only be reading his script? Do you just have select guests officiate any other portions of the ceremony?
