Newbie in Punta Cana

Hi everyone!

 

I JUST got engaged on Valentine's Day and am already trying to get in the swing of things planning our wedding. My fiance and I have talked for a while about going away somewhere to get married and we decided on Punta Cana after hearing rave reviews from a lot of people.

 

We are looking at the Dreams resort in Punta Cana at the end of April (hopefully the 28th) but I am still trying to get in touch with a WC there to confirm our date. Has anyone else looked into getting married there? Any newbies already talked to a WC? Just trying to get a feel for how long it takes to get all the initial stuff set up!

Congrats on being newly engaged!! I am also looking at Dreams in Punta Cana but haven't been in touch with the WC yet....there is a TON of info on this site including reviews etc about that resort. The price is defintely right there:) Do a search of the thread and will have a ton of info..good luck with everything and keep us updated!

Welcome to the forum and congratulations. I got married in Punta Cana but a different resort. It takes awhile for the WC to get back to you sometimes, that's pretty normal with a dw. the average response time ranges from 1 to 3 days. goodluck with your planning.
