How many songs???

I have been reading all these song threads for ideas, and I'm freaking out! It seems like everyone has a groom entrance song, a bridesmaid song, a bride song, a signing song, a recessional song, a postlude song, a reception arrival song, not to mention first dance songs! That's a lot of songs! My fiance and I just spent about 2 weeks coming up with one song, so I don't know if it's even possible for us to come up with 9 songs by May!

So basically, what's the minimum acceptable number of songs, and what's the norm? I'm curious to know what people in the past have done, and what the rest of you are planning to do in the future :)

people usually have at the very least:

wedding party entrance song (prelude?)

bride's entrance song (processional)

recessional (exit tune)

and a first dance song

but others do separate songs for bridesmaids and groomsmen, or have more prelude songs, a certificate signing song, a sand ceremony song, a song that's sung or performed in the middle of the ceremony, a recessional, postlude songs, reception entrance songs (wedding party, parents, bride/groom), first dance, father/daughter, mother/son dances, cake cutting song, garter song, last song of the night ... it can go on and on if you let it!

lol ... and you figured out your wedding song in 2 weeks!? that's a lot better than we did!

well...we figured out an option anyways (it's from Wall-e, and we're concerned it's lame) I was looking for romantic songs today (for the reception or whatever) and I thought to myself "hey, Frank Sinatra will have some good ones". I started going through all his lyrics, and I'm already up to 50 suitable songs! That's me being picky too, and only choosing songs that are directly applicable to us :S I knew he was a romantic, but it's almost ridiculous!
