Sascha Gluck Photography OR Resort Photog?

Has anyone used Sascha as their photographer? I am debating on hiring him instead of using the resort photographer. Is it worth it to go with an outside vendor or have you all had good results with resort photographers?

I dont know anything about Sascha. But i hired an outside photog for my wedding and that was one of the best decisions i made. I was so happy with my pictures and i dont think the resort photog would of done as great a job IMO.

Resort photogs sort of get a bad rap:) I have no experience, but I know in most instances, a reputable independant photographer seems to be preferred. I think you should ask for a sample of the resort photog's work so that you can compare it with Sascha's. I contacted him a few months ago and really considered using him, and would have if I hadn't gotten a larger package/deal at a great rate with someone else. He's good as far as I can tell and was very prompt with his responses to me.
