Beach/Parks on the North Shore

Hi, Everyone,

 

I'm looking for a Beach/Park somewhere on the north shore that would be great to have a get together. Somewhere to just get together and BBQ and swim in the ocean...not looking for anything grand but nothing where the rift rafts hang out. Thanks in advanced.

i love waimea bay and sunset beach. Though both are busy places and may not be that private for a bbq. A super quiet place beautiful though without a bathroom is Kahana bay just below the tip on the east side but not far. There is a beautiful place - kailua beach park but its on the south east part of the island.

Thanks ) ...we decided to opt out of the BBQ and do a nightcap out on the town.
