Thanks everyone, and woohoo for Libra's, LALA! It was my birthday, and I had just blown out the candles on my cake, so my friend Rosa had my camera at the ready for that. I am a scrapbooker, so I try to get pictures of everything. I am so, so thankful I have pictures of this moment.

 

I had high hopes of getting proposed to on my birthday. But, after lunch, dinner, dessert, and a romantic moment by a beautiful fountain, I had pretty much given up hope. I figured he was waiting for my big birthday party the coming weekend. I blew out the candles on my cake around 9 or so, and as soon as they were out, he started a really sweet speech about how much he loved my family, and hoped he could be a permanent part of it by marrying me! It was a great proposal, and it meant a lot to me that he did it with my family there!
