I only used one led per battery. i didn't think of 2 per battery. I didnt do the on off switch. I just took the tape off after the photo and took them apart. I'm sooo pleased! Thanks Sarah! I wasn't going to like them before, and just let them hang for color, but now they will be so much fun when it gets dark.

I think they would be really cute in wicker balls, but you'd only need one light.

 

Carrying through customs is easy. I'm not assembling mine until I'm there so i have tons of lanterns all folded down and then I have 2 LED lights & 1 battery for each lantern and i have 70 lanterns. All my LED lights & batteries fit in a 6 x 8 envelope. Simple!

This is off topic, but where did you find your lanterns?
