Cabo wind/candle question

Question for those of you who have gotten married or done site visits in Cabo...

 

If I want pillar candles as a part of my centerpiece do I have to put them in some sort of hurricane vase? I saw a pic that I loved where there were just a ton of pillar candles together - but if I had to use hurricanes so they didn't blow out I think it might look weird.

Sorry dont have an answer but had a similar question....maybe they can supply a cylinder type of vase instead of a hurrican style. This way it wouldnt detract from the candles themselves.....just an idea though.

 

I defiantly want lot of candles as well...very romantic setting.

Well - the wind "usually" dies down when the sun goes down. Ask Dreams - they'll have a better idea.

I used candles (without vases/hurricanes) but should I be embarrassed if I have NO IDEA if they stayed lit or not? I'm sure they were lit at the beginning of dinner, but after that? I was on the dance floor drinking margaritas! hehe

I'm planning on doing 4 inch round candles with nothing around them in June, I'll let you know how it works out. I figured we'd just relight them if they go out. I didn't like the hurricanes Dreams had and didn't want to deal with bringing down my own...

I agree with jessica... use cylinders vs. hurricanes. I love the look of the massive candles grouped together. Both ways appear just a dramatic. You can't go wrong.
