Newbie from Finland :D

I found this forum via Google and this has been already very useful for me! We are planning to have our wedding in Playa del Carmen in November this year. We just decided that a week ago and now we have our wedding already booked!

 

We wanted our wedding to be something different, we have been together over 10 years and have a 4-year-old daughter and in addition we are atheists, so traditional wedding was out of question. We love traveling so we thought that DW would be an excellent choice for us!

 

Selecting the location was actually quite easy as we had to select a place where we can fly with charter (otherwise for example to Mexico would take around 20 hours, with charter flights it is 13 hours). Our travel agency had couple of good AI hotels to offer us in Playa del Carmen and we ended up booking with Gran Porto Real. Very easy so far

 

We will only be having 6 guests in our wedding, so everything will be simple and small. (Just the way I wanted!)

I have already started to study Spanish again I lived 1 year in Spain 5 years ago and spoke Spanish fluently back then, so just a little more practice and I am so ready for our 2-weeks holiday in Mexico!

 

Next thing I have to do is to find a photographer. Gran Porto Real is using Funever Photos, but it seems that they don't even have a website.. Here I have found so many good photographers but most of them are a bit too expensive to us! Well, I still have a lot of time for that!
