That report is absolutely disgusting. If she seriously is taking him back after that, then she is a stupid, stupid woman. If she thinks he still loves her, she has issues... You don't do that to someone you love

Even though there are charges being made against Chris Brown, let's face it, he'll probably just get probation. It's unfortunate too because he has so many young men as fans and they will see that beating up a women and threatening her doesn't mean you will get jail time over it. When someone doesn't pay for their actions, it makes it seem as if the actions that were made are not that big of a deal. And that's upsetting because beating up a women (or anyone in general) is not ok!!

has it been confirmed that they are actually back together yet?? I know they were both in Miami although he was working most of that trip. then they left on the same plane to LA. But have they been seen together since or officially said to be together?

I agree, I don't see him doing real jail time. Especially since rihanna isn't testifying. Although lets be honest, I don't see it really hurting his career either. It will a little, but he is still so talented. There are SO many celebrities that have been in BIG trouble some who have even gone to prison yet we still listen to them or watch them because they are talented. And really alot of them arent great role models to begin w/. Majority of celebrities either do or have done hardcore drugs or abused perscription drugs cause its so easy for them to get them, or they've made their own porn, etc. i don't really expect much from celebrities except for them to continue making great albums, movies or whatever it may be that they do.

Wow, that incident report is absolutely horrible!!

 

I hate to say it but if that was the first time he physically hurt her he's probably going to have to do it a few more times before she cuts off all ties with him. It makes her look stupid but that's sort of how these things tend to work, so really she is doing the average thing.

 

It's a logical argument to say run and don't look back but not all women can leave the person they love at the first sign of violence. Often the apology is accepted and women believe their abuser can be changed into the good person they know (or think) they can be. Hopefully she sees the light sooner than later for her sake. She's freakin' Rihanna after all, she can be with anyone she wants and she doesn't need to be with that clown.

 

And I honestly can't wait for this to stop being headline news, there are other things going on!

I think if the reports are indeed true and Rihanna and CB are back together, that makes this case even more impactful on the society as a whole, especially for young women who look up to her.

 

Because so many young girls look up to Rihanna, there will be plenty who look at her situation and think getting physically or emotionally abused is ok and can be forgiven. I am in no way condoning abuse, but I do believe everyone makes mistakes. However when someone repeatedly does something that hurts another, that teeters on the unforgivabe.

 

Sadly, the abuse seems to be a chronic problem in their relationship and it's unfortunate that she continues to leave the door open for him without demanding that he seek serious help and make some huge changes.

 

Being the mother to a 13-year-old girl, I pray that when she gets older she will find someone who cares, loves and respects her. God forbid she end up with a man who hurts her and one day looks back at the Rihanna/CB situation and thinks to herself that if Rihanna can live with a man like that then so can she. Thank God my little girl's most recent comments have been "she's stupid for taking that sucka back." lol hehehehe.

 

Anyhow, the police report is horrific almost unimaginable -- but whatever happens I hope CB gets some serious help and the violent side of him ceases to exist.
