Chocolate Wedding Countdown Calendar

Okay...I LOVE advent calendars! There is something about counting down the days with a piece of chocolate that makes me oh so happy.

 

That's why when I found a giant advent calendar yesterday that I knew I had to 1. Buy it and 2. Make it into something AMAZING! As soon as I set my eyes on the 3 foot x 2 foot advent calendar that I knew what my wedding was missing something....

So, I bought it, came home and made it into my very own custom Chocolate Wedding Countdown Calendar! I like to call it a Wed-vent Calendar!

Who knew that a giant chocolate advent calendar could be so useful when planning a wedding. Who doesn't love advent calendars?

 

I now introduce...the Wedvent Calendar! It's so sweet....har har

 

 

Aww....wedding photos on the outside. Christmas themed chocolate in the inside. Best of ALL worlds.

 

This may be the nerdiest (and tastiest!) thing I have done for the wedding.

 

Have anyone done anything ultra-ridiculous for the wedding? How did your FI respond?

Hey...if you want one I could totally make one....I was thinking about doing one made out of hershey's kisses....a kiss a day until the last of all the kisses makes you a mrs!

My FI may have rolled his eyes a bit. He knows me well enough that I like to go a little overboard with DIY Projects : )
