Las Brisas Huatulco?

Recommended Posts

Has anybody gotten married/been to a wedding/etc at Las Brisas Huatulco?

We were planning to get married at Dreams Huatulco, but my in laws, who go to huatulco (las brisas) every year toured both this january, and said that they thoght Las Brisas would be a better choice (more tropical, lush vegetation, flowers etc, more to do, beaches better for swimming, more private wedding area).

If anybody has any insight I would love to hear it!! We don't know what to do! They are saying that if we get married at dreams, they will not stay there, and will stay at Las Brisas because they will be too bored at dreams..

I have been to Las Brisas. The resort property is very large so if you have older guests...not a good idea. It is also an older property and unless you get the suites it wont look like the room on the website. I would definately only go there if you were going to stay in the oceanview suites. Nightlife was also not that great...older crowd, but if you dont mind that you will find the property quiet and relaxing.

Any other questions feel free to ask.

I'm also wondering about this resort, since I am now looking for cheaper alternatives to St Martin. I like the fact the beach is more secluded, but I read on some reviews that the food is not very good. What was your experience with that?
