Professional Makeup?

I have read a lot about how well the resorts do hair, but I am wondering about the makeup. Do they do a good job? Is anyone having their makeup done or are you doing it yourself? I want it to stay on all day and I do not wear that much to start with.

I am on the fence about hiring someone versus doing it myself. The products they use are probably good but I am more comfortable using my own. Just need to take a crash course and practice before the big day.
