Hi all,

Greetings from London to all! I am Michael and just joined this forum.

We are planning a beach wedding at Bahamas in mid June 2009.

It will be a small size wedding ceremony with 6 people:)

We want to ask how is the weather condition during that period. We will only need clear sky and sunshine!!!! We do not mind HOT:)

P.S Due to our tradition, our wedding will be held in the morning:) (Before 13:00pm)

We plan to stay at Atlantis.

All other information are also very welcome e.g.

1) beautiful beach venue. do we need to pay for it, as I heard that there are some public beaches.....appreciate if someone could fwd me some real pics for the beach...

2) recommended planner, photographers?

3) we want flowers(rose and lily) arch. how much it could behuh.gif

4) where we can hire a limo?

Thanks everyone!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers

Mc

Hello and welcome.

Mid to end of June is the beginning of rain season. Try to book for earlier in June.

I understand that there is a nominal fee for getting married on public beaches, you can contact the tourism ministry for a listing.

I am using the planner at the Atlantis, because that is where we are getting married, but if you are looking for one, you should contact the Bahamas Tourism office for a list of recommended planners. I also heard that tourism office offers their own planners.

In terms of photographers I am using Tim Aylen (link in my bio) - I love his work, and he is local :)

Flowers in Bahamas are quite costly. For example, the average bouquet price I found is $250. Arches and arbors are extremely expensive as well and can run you on average $750-$3000 to rent.

I hope this helps you out. Msg me if you need more help.
