Looks great so far! Maybe when to compermise and stay in budget you could just do the outline, and not put the crystals in the middle? I just wish I had the patience to do something like that...I'm sure the end result will be beautiful!

Yeah... I can see the expensive part... I have spent about $130 on those little crystals... I got about 14 grosses tho... So I probably bought WAY too many, but I wanted to have lots of colors and sizes. I bought most of them from HotFix Queen - SWAROVSKI HOT FIX RHINESTONES ~ Lowest Price on the net with FREE SHIPPING I found her prices to be the cheapest around.

It looks great...my vote would be for the more bling the better. If not I would outline it. On a side note...where did you get the letter from?

Ebay. It was $6.99 for a 4.5 inch mirrorred acrylic cake topper.That size is great for most cakes and decorated with diamond stones, it packs a great punch and won't get lost on your cake. A store in Buffalo quoted me $35 for the same thing and it was an inch shorter!

Shipping to Canada cost $6, so I paid $13 for it in total.

It's the crystals that are pricey....

I have decided....FULL BLING!
