is dressilyme like dhgate? there are different vendors? or is it like one vendor one feedback?

I attached a picture of the dress I ordered and of the actual dress I got.

Before I ever even thought about doing this, I had tried on dresses at two different bridal stores. I was having a really hard time with how much money one dress could cost! And to even fathom doing a trash the dress after spending $1500-2000 on a dress!! Anyways, the dresses that I thought I would love ended up looking horrible on me, and then I found a dress that I really liked but wanted to make changes to which would have cost me even more!n

Then I found this thread....I didn't even know that ordering from China was even a possibility! I searched and searched, and found this style which is almost identical to the dress I really liked but it had the sweetheart neckline which I really loved! When I first found this dress, it was on sale....but after thinking about it and looking at it multiple times a day, when I was finally ready to order, it was back to full price of over $600. I wasn't ready to pay that, so I thought my experience would end there....but I am persistent, and two weeks later it went on sale again! I ordered immediately!

Input my order in on February 9, and chose the cheapest shipping method. My wedding isn't until October so I wasn't in any hurry. Amy at Dressilyme was in contact with me almost immediately. I had asked for pictures prior to sending and she said that they couldn't do that but to feel confident that it would be perfect. She also said that it would be 30-45 days to make and 10 days to ship. Fine with me. In February 26, I got confirmation that my dress was completed and had been shipped! And it arrived at my door on February 28!! Wow!

I did order it custom to my measurements, which turned out amazing! The dress literally fits like a glove! The only part is that the corset back at the too comes almost together, but it think if I wear a bra or undergarment under it it will close into the v shape that a corset back should be. The original is in white,
and I ordered mine in ivory. The color is perfect. The actually quality of the dress is amazing, just like any dress I tried on in a bridal store! Maybe a few stray threads here and there but that it easy enough to fix!
The lace on the dress is definitely different than that in the original, but it is very pretty. I think I like the lace in the picture better, but I am still happy with what I received.

The only alteration that really needs to be done is a bustle.

Also, I read somewhere that people dresses smelled funny...there is no smell on my dress at all! Lol

Overall, I would definitely order from this site again! My bridesmaids are checking out dresses they might like and I will probably order them from here as well.

Funniest part is that when my fiancé and I spoke about wedding dress budget, he suggested it be $500, to which I laughed and laughed....but now who has the last laugh!? All in I paid $360 with custom sizing, shipping, and I had to pay another $20 when it arrived for customs.

Best thing I did, now I can't wait to wear it on our we doing day!

They are just one vendor. You pretty much deal with one person through the whole process, they are very quick to respond...except it hPpens during the night since we are in different time zones!

Glad to know you are happy with your dress. Is there a specific reason you picked Dressilyme instead of DHGate vendors?

I just liked the idea of dealing with one vendor, dhgate kind of confused me because you had to find that perfect vendor who makes the best product and that just seemed like too much work for me! Lol

Hi ladies! Sorry it took so long- but here they are! Pics of my dress from babyonline. I need to get a crinoline (and some spanks lol) but this is it! Sorry for the bad pic quality. :)

What kind of crinoline will you be getting? Do you mind posting pictures after you purchase one with both the crinoline and dress on?

I've seen lots of brides say they need one, so I was just curious as to which ones brides were purchasing and how the crinoline changes the dress.

Actually, I decided against it.  Once I tried the dress on at the alteration shop with the shoes and everything, I prefered the way it flows vs. having a poofy skirt.  They did send me a cheap hoop one, but I never even bothered to put it on since I was happy with the way it was (plus it was one less decision to make). :)

Just wondered if anyone has seen a site called dress day or day dress (something like that). It popped up last night while I was searching some things and I tossed it off, but realized afterwards that it was probably a site similar to these. Don't know if anyone has heard of, or dealt with them. If so, would be curious to know. They actually go by dress style numbers of designers, which really surprised me. One I was looking for popped up (that's how I found the site) and the price was unbelievable. But the old saying of what sounds too good to be true usually is keeps sticking in my head......

Hi everyone!
I was wondering if anyone had used Simply Bridal?
They are actually a US company and let you try dresses on at home for $19.95.
I'm considering ordering this one...
http://www.simplybridal.com/shop/wedding-dresses/savannah-gown

or this one
http://www.simplybridal.com/shop/wedding-dresses/ursula-gown

Most of their dresses are under $400

Hi everyone! I just received my pictures from Babyonline of my dress. I asked for the top of Allure 8908 and the bottom of Mori Lee 8908 in Ivory. I also requested to detachable sashes in ivory and champagne as I wasn't sure which color I will wear on my wedding day. I asked for an ivory dress, but it looks white, guess I'll know better when I see it in person.

Overall, for $268 I'm pleased with the top of the dress. The lace on the bottom seems a little cheap looking by the picture, but maybe with crinoline it will fill in better. My other concern was about the dress not having clear beadings on top of the lace appliques throughout the bottom of the dress. I could live without them because even with trying on the Mori Lee 3108 dress, in person you can only see the beading, not in pictures. I did request that they add them. I also wanted to be sure that in the front of the dress the underlay does lay flat like in the back. It seems whoever took the picture just didn't lay the dress out completely.

I have attached my inspiration pics and pics from Babyonline. Please give me your suggestions on any other changes before I have them ship it to me. Thanks!
