Good morning ladies, So I ordered a dress from baby online recently. not my wedding dress but a blue dress fort rehearsal dinner. I requested that they send pictures prior to sending the dress. well they delivered the dress without pictures. I was away for the thanksgiving holiday and now I have to go out of my way and pick it up. it is crazy how they work. I hope the dress looks great but I am upset at the fact that they did not send me pictures as I requested. What is that? I am furious!

If you want better service with a higher price tag, you can consider going with Jasmin's.

I am not at all surprised that they did not send you pictures.  The same thing happened to me and it seems like a number of other people if you read through the forum.  I was prepared for this when I ordered.  You could try to get a discount if you have to have work done on it..

Three months ago I ordered a customized wedding dress from Fabulous U.  I was so amazed at their level of customer service.  When i had a sudden change in my wedding date (earlier) they were eagar to go the extra mile and accommodate me.

I was so thankful without their committment and high service my wedding could have been a disaster.  No worries about being duped like other online companies, this is a solid company making great dresses.

Fabulous U has been a brilliant experience! They treated me with the upmost respect and always made sure I was confident and happy with every decision. I would of liked more phone calls or maybe even video conferencing to see the dress, but I was always sent loads of photos and fabric to make sure I was 100% happy. I will be recommending this to all my friends! Extremely satisfied!

Did you get your dress yet angelnjewels?  The same happened to me- they promised pics and the next thing you know I got notification that it had shipped without ever seeing it. :(   I hope everything worked out for you!

I just want to write the review about my experience with DressilyMe. Sorry for all the pictures...

 

Background: I started emailing Milly@DressilyMe on Oct 14, 2013. I had about 20 emails back and forth with Milly regarding different parts of the dress and price of the dress, etc. until Nov 22, 2013.

 

I agreed on $189.34USD for the dress + $15USD for custom size + $44USD for FEDEX shipping.

 

I made sure that DressilyMe agreed on providing me pictures to review the dress before shipment (which Milly said the dress will then take 45 days to complete). My wedding is not until a year from now so I informed DM to take their time...just make my dress look good!

 

My inspiration came from Sottero & Midgley Amber as the front:

I ordered the dress on Nov 22, 2013 and then received the first "draft" pics on Dec 10, 2013.

I wasn't too happy with the dress so I emailed Amy@DressilyMe back with things to change:

I think they did the changes pretty darn well done. I mean for the price I am paying, I can't complain at all. I think this is a wonderful way to get a lovely dress. DressilyMe's services are VERY responsive. Milly reply me generally within 24 hours. Amy generally reply me within 8 hours. 

 

I asked them to ship my dress. I just hope my measurements are accurate and I can at least fit in the dress!

I just got an email that Jasmine's isn't offering their "Designer" upgrades any more as of January 1, 2014! Augh! 

 

I haven't ordered my dress yet and it's really important to me that I get photos of the dress construction process :( So frustrated. I'd had my heart set on Jasmine's making my dress thanks to the rave reviews I'd read here and on weddingbee, and now I'm really reluctant to spend $600+ on a dress I won't see until it arrives.
