I was frusterated with the high prices in the wedding shops and once I found the dress I wanted which was a Mori Lee I had to do some serious detective work to get the actual model number since they so not like to give you that at the upscale shops. Once I had that, I searched on google vetting tons of sites to find ppl re-selling it or offering it at a better price. I was told by someone to be very careful when ordering from those sites that offer deep discounts as the qualitiy is usually terrible and the sizes are usually way off. So I found a bridal shop in Florida offering the dress I wanted for $659 wheras I was finding it for $1100 in stores. Since I was still weary about ordering online....I printed up the sheet with the dress, model number and price and took it down to a smaller family owned store close to my house and told them the following, "I really want a specific dress and I know you carry the brand, so I would really love to give the business to my local store but only if you can match this price I found." They agreed, to my surprise and I saved $400! I would suggest trying this method....the worst case scenario is they could say no.

Definitely white lining would look better. I like the original dress its very elegant and sexy yet still sophisticated. Who are u using to make the replica,if I may ask? I have ordered mine couple of weeks ago from dressilyme. Paris and Milly have been very helpful. And I did the custom made dress with paint as well. Changing the back,the sleeves and the neckline as well as chapel train instead of sweep. Got them to agree to send me pictures before I sent the payment. initially they said that it was their busiest period so they wouldnt send pictures but told them that I am wearing this dress for 2 wedddings and want to make sure 100% perfect. And then her manager agree to. I will update here once they send me pictures. How soon do you reckon I can start pestering abt the dress? These are done by paint.

You can not tell which seller is good at DHgate. I would recommend www.thebridalgowns.com. I bought mine from them.  When I received the dress, and I was very impressed! I followed the advice of other reviewers and ordered my dress two sizes larger than I would normally wear, and it fits perfectly. The fabric has stretch to it, just enough to make the fit very flattering. and I will definitely be ordering again.

I was initially tossing between babyonline or dressilyme and after speaking to both,I felt alot More comfortable and dressily understand what I want better. their english is actually not that bad too which was pretty surprising. did you pester baby to send picture or they send them to you because it is done?

Ok girls.

 

I have just got an email from Milly from dressilyme and my dress is done within 2 weeks after payment!

 

Now i am just wondering, i think there's something weird with the sleeves and the front and back neckline.

Sleeves seem abit short-ish ( i want them to be off shoulder dress).

The sides of the inner sleeves also seemed like there's extra long-ish material attached to the neckline.

The back, when buttoned up will definitely be too tight and i want it to be shorter.

The rest i am very happy. The 1st 2 pictures are the way i want it to be, while the later pictures on mannequins are from dressilyme.

How did you get them to agree to send money after you have seen pictures? I am having problems with that part...
