Did you ever end up getting a dress from Wonderxue?? I'm considering using her to knock off a BHLDN dress I've fallen in love with (and can't afford). Her reviews are amazing...just curious to hear from first hand!

I've just ordered a dress from Wonderxue.  She seems really helpful and knowledgeable.  We'll see how it turns out, will post pics as I get them but I don't expect anything for a while as I've just paid her yesterday. Fingers crossed because if it doesn't turn out, it'll be some kind of department store dress for me cos I won't have enough time to buy anything else.  Curse my procrastination >_<

Somone a few pages back used her and her dress was AMAZING!!  Because of her dress I decided to reach out to Wonderxue on Etsy too.  I actually spoke with Yuan (I think that's her name at wonderxue) and got a quote on the dress I want and she is sending me a fabric samples.

Question regarding your dress...were you afraid it wouldn't fit properly?  Did you go to wedding shops and try on certain styles to determine what suited you best before you ordered it?  Did you provide your measurements or did it just come in a certain size?
I don't know if your question is general or if it was specific to a certain dress shop. I bought my dress from jasmines bridal. They have great reviews and pics of actual dresses they have made. They have wondeful customer service and one of the big reasons I chose them was that u don't pay in full. You pay half initially and they send u production photos, which some places dont, and they don't send it and u don't pay the final payment until u are satisfied with the final product. I was a little concerned about fit but I knew u wanted a corset back and that would help. They do it custom to your measurements which is awesome and you can just get alterations if necessary for size. I did try on dresses before which I am so glad I did. The dress I bought was not what I thought I would have picked until I tried it on. However if u r planning a knockoff and try on dresses keep in mind they are replicating it and may not be exactly the same. I had an open mind and knew I just wantwd that same look as the dress I tried on, it didn't have to be the same. Also when u vcimmunicate with the company be very specific with what yoy want. Use paint to draw lines and atyff on your dress. They usually haven't seen the actual designer drss they go from pics. Sorry this is so long :) hope it helps! Good luck!

I absolutely fell in love with this dress! Now bc we decided on a more expensive location our budget is a little tight and ordering it from the shop makes it way too close so I have been reading this forum for like 2 days! Lol I am between Jasmines, who actually has it on their site and can do it for about $500 (premium quality), or Dessilyme, who I had to send it in and they said its the first time making it so looking exactly the like picture is harder but it's only $250. Now i dont see how you can really mess this dress up but im not suree who to go with. Now my wedding isn't until Nov which is why I want to figure this out now incase something does happen. But what should I do??? I appreciate all the input I can get! Here is a link to the picture on Jasmines http://www.jasminesbridalshop.com/index.php?task=productdetail&id=6018
