This is so pretty I hope my replica will be as nice as your's is. This was one of the dresses that I was considering. I might have chosen this one if I had known how well it can be replicated. I think the one I chose is a little harder to make so I'm really worried about how its going to come out.
Rilleyr Which dress did you get replicated and by whom? I'm trying to gather all the info I can!! I'm considering allure 8815 and 2515. I'm trying on the real 8815 Monday but they dont have the 2515 in stock as a sample and no one in town does :( hate to even buy a replica without trying the orig on:/

I'm totally wondering the same thing... I'm in mid-production right now - they haven't started the beading... I definitely want the more beautiful crystal beads, I wonder if I should just make that clear to them now... Save the plastic for the flower girls!! haha
I totally would tell them now! I would fib a bit and say you heard one of their competitors uses them but wanted to be sure you were getting the crystal type beads. Make them wanna show up their competitors sorta speak. I know. I'm bad. But I've become a type "a" bride lol. And your right, save those for flower girls!!

Ahhh, this is the dress that I have wanted from day one!!! I have tried on multiple dresses, and ended up buying one however it can be returned.

This is the dress that I currently have, but after seeing the post by alj118, I am confused!!!

Should I keep the one I have, or return it and order the knock-off Vera one from China!?!?!?

Me in my current dress.

My current dress (I have to buy a sash like the one in the first picture)

ANY ADVICE WOULD BE APPRECIATED!!!!!

I just wanted to update that I received my dress.  I am very happy with it!  It's not exactly like the original, but it's close enough for me...and I did request some changes to be made from the earlier photos.  (new neckline, etc).  Here is the Inspiration Dress (Hillary Duff) and my dress.  Please note that I could not lace up the corset myself so it isn't fitted will in my photo and looks crooked.  Also--I'm sorry it's sideways, I'm not sure how to change the orientation of it.  Crappy cell phone pic too---but I was too excited!!   Also---it came in a tiny shipping bag...so it's a bit wrinkled.  (Although not as wrinkled as you would expect).  The Vera Wang version is $6500.  Mine was less than $200.  :)

Wow misskoralk!

Those are huge differences in beading /embellishments! Your changes are much prettier. So let me ask you, did they charge you extra when you requested the change?

It was at no extra cost. I just reminded them of the part of their website that says they use crystals/rhinestones. And then referred them to the original dress which also showed crystal beads.

They only charge extra when you are introducing new elements to the dress. E.g I brought a different picture of the dress on a real bride and tried to get them to replicate it to look more like that. They billed $60 stating that I should have provided these pictures before they commenced production. I also wanted to increase the sleeve length from 13inches to 16inches but they billed $15 since it was a new measurement.

I decided to scrap the changes :P

I figured I can live with the sleeve length the way it is idea.gif Just make sure to collate everything you want to include in the dress "BEFORE" they commence production. That way you avoid extra charges. Also double and triple check your measurements.

Hope this helps
