Do you have a ship date for your dress yet? I know you can't wait! I was so excited to have it in my hands and try it on today that I really didn't take the time to see if there was really anything wrong with it. I only noticed things when I looked back at the pictures! (like how I didn't have the crinoline pulled down straight! LOL0

They've fixed what I asked them to and I think it looks good, better than I ever thought a copy would! I'm paying the balance now, but its the end of their working day now so it might be tomorrow before they can ship it then they said 4 0r 5 days :D woooohoo.

My dress was very detailed and I figured they might have trouble, but this is crazy.  I'm sending them an email this morning stating I want pictures and ship date today.  I just want my dress.  I had nothing but stress this week between the dress and the suits/tuxes for the guys.  I wanted tan suits and can't find a boys size 5 in the same color as my fiance or his best man.  So I have to scrap the color scheme I wanted and go with black tuxes.  I'm tired of stressing.

Thank you.  So this is the email I sent to Gianinar Bridal this morning.  I'm  hoping they will live up to our agreement and I won't have to follow through with the threats.  Fingers crossed it works!

I feel I have been very patient about my dress, my expectations and in my emails with you regarding how late the dress is getting to me.  It is now August 10th. You sent me an email on August 6th stating my dress would be finished in 2 days (August 8th) and pictures would follow.  I have not had ANY pictures.  I sent you a deposit back on June 1st in good faith that you would make my dress and get me pictures in a timely manner.  I don't feel you have lived up to your end of our agreement.  I am now forced to DEMAND pictures of my dress by Monday, August 13th by 5pm EST or I am going to have to start a fraud claim with Paypal.  
 
I found your company through a wedding forum where brides gave honest reviews in dealing with companies in China making wedding dresses.  Your reviews were outstanding, stating that your company had great communication, delivered the dresses in a timely manner and were a pleasure to deal with.  I feel that due to my experience with you so far, I would have to give a less favorable and more negative review of your failure to meet a deadline and lack of pictures and communication.  I am hopeful that you will send my pictures by the Monday, August 13th 2012 5:00pm EST deadline, that my dress will ship next week (between the dates of August 13th and August 17th ), that I will have my dress before August 30th, 2012 and I won't have to report my negative review of your company and services on the wedding forum that spoke of you so highly.

You're right. When I got home and was looking at the dress a little closer,  I realized that they actually did make the straps to snap off. I went back to try it on yesterday and I will just let them adjust the neck strap.

Heather Have you looked at JCP? I found my FI's linen suit there (on clearence right now) and I know I seen tan. The employees at the one by me went above and beyond finding what I need at different stores for our GM (10 of them!!).

Not sure if you have gotten some resolution with your dress yet but if I were you I would go on and start the PayPal claim to make sure it is within their 45 day window. I sent a very similar email to Shades of Pale except it didn't help a thing. I had waited so patiently thinking that they would really come through that I waited all the way past the allowable time frame to file a claim on PayPal. Luckily since the money for PayPal came through my debit card, I was able to file the claim through my bank.
